A spoken word artist, workshop facilitator, project coordinator and outspoken human rights supporter. Amerah has been on the creative scene for over six years. Aiming to inspire and enthuse the younger generation whilst also making the older generation look at the current state of our society and addressing what needs to change. Amerah is a lover of words and wild creativity- with a strong belief that creativity rekindles our souls with life.
Amerah Saleh has performed around the country at events and festivals, and has received commissions from Sampad, mac birmingham, Eastern Electronic Festival, TedxBrum, Library of Birmingham, REP Theatre and Watford Palace. Through her initiative, Creative Superheroes, she has helped develop and support young artists in Birmingham receive paid work and commissions around the West Midlands and beyond, and she was invited to an audience with Prince William for her phenomenal work with young people through her innovative workshop programmes.
