Furnace is a brand new, three-year community engagement programme that unites our ambitions to create the highest quality new work by, from and for communities in our city and to support, challenge and inspire our Foundry artists to make work in new ways and for new audiences.
Funded by the Arts Council England, Furnace will enable The REP to build upon the success of The Foundry programme for emerging artists by offering Foundry graduates opportunities to grow their skills, working on new projects.
Five Foundry graduates have been offered a Community Residency placement across Birmingham. These opportunities allow our artists to develop and produce new work whilst being artistically supported by The REP.
Amerah Saleh is based in Sparkbrook.
